Electrical design and installation for the single largest indoor marine mammal facility in the world, including a seasonal timing and intensity lighting system for mammalian habitats. Awarded the 1991 Chicago Lighting Institute's Award for lighting excellence.
Hired by the largest national science and engineering research laboratory in the Midwest to design and install a Green Energy solar field: three manufacturers' photovoltaic modules, 93 kW DC nameplate capacity.
Three decades of work across the UIC campus, most recently the ground-up stadium build of 2015: heated dugouts, stadium lighting, and the closed-circuit networking, all designed and installed by McWilliams.

Design, build and maintain a renewable energy solution: solar photovoltaic, wind generation, LED lighting retrofit and lithium ion battery storage, with a financial model including applicable grants or rebates.
